Yemeni-Houthi Minister Of Information Dayfallah Al-Shami: We Will Target Any Ship Heading Towards Israeli Seaports; Any Ship That Has Dealings With Israel Constitutes A Legitimate Target

Yemeni-Houthi Minister of Information Dayfallah Al-Shami said on a December 9, 2023 show aired on Al-Alam TV (Iran) that the Houthis will target any ship heading towards Israeli seaports. He said that they will be targeted regardless of their nationality, their country of origin, and ownership. Al-Shami added that the Houthis consider anyone who has dealings with the "Zionist entity" to be legitimate targets.

Dayfallah Al-Shami: "[We] have prepared a comprehensive plan to target any ship carrying goods, oil, or supplies, en route to the Zionist seaports. These ships will be targeted. Our bank of targets is ready. Our information is ready. All the ships that have sailed or that are sailing to the Zionist ports are well known. The names of the ships, their crews, their course, and all their movements are known to us.

"Either they heed our warning, or as it is said: 'He who had warned is excused' – we will target them, regardless of their nationality, their country of origin, regardless of which shipping company in the world they belong to, or which businessman. Even if it is [a ship that belongs to] a Yemeni businessman, who does business with the Zionist ports, it will be treated in the exact same way that Israeli and other ships will be treated."
