Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Maqri, head of Moroccan and Algerian delegation to Lifeline 5 convoy to Gaza. The address on Al-Aqsa TV on October 22, 2010:
Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Maqri: Brothers, the mujahideen have told us that they decided not to defeat the oppressive Jews by gunfire, but instead, by daggers. When I asked why, they said: They are not worth wasting a bullet on, because they were oppressive and treacherous. Dear brothers, for these and other reasons we support Palestine – whether it is oppressive or oppressed. Palestine is not oppressive, but even if it were, we would have supported it.
We stand alongside Palestine. All our blood is Palestine. The air we breathe is Palestine. If we had enough time, I would tell you what I told the brothers in Ladhiqiyah – how Israel will be annihilated soon, Allah willing.
