American BDS Activist Anna Baltzer: No Contradiction between Being Jewish and Anti-Zionist

American BDS activist Anna Baltzer, speaking on Al-Jazeera TV on August 9, 2018, said that she was part of a "huge Jewish anti-Zionist movement" and that there was no contradiction between the two. "Israel has tried to rob and steal Jewish identity, and Jews are standing up and saying: No!"

American BDS Activist Anna Baltzer: I'm part of a huge Jewish anti-Zionist movement. There is no contradiction. We oppose what is happening, including the occupation and the killing of children in Gaza. When people attack us and try to stop our involvement in those issues, it goes against Judaism. Naturally, that is offensive. Israel has tried to rob and steal Jewish identity, and Jews are standing up and saying: No! There is nothing Jewish about what Israel is doing, and the claims of anti-Semitism are, frankly, old.
