Dr. Kevin Barrett, a Muslim-American academic and radio host who is known for his belief that 9/11 was carried out by Israel and for his criticism of the War on Terror, was interviewed in an August 30, 2019 episode of "The Deen Show", which is based in Chicago and hosted by Eddie Redzovic. Dr. Barrett and Redzovic discussed how evidence that Muslims carried out 9/11 is "obviously" fabricated, and Dr. Barrett said that the official narrative of 9/11 is a "complete joke." Dr. Barrett and Redzovic agreed that people who try to "tell the truth" about 9/11, such as the group called Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, are engaging in a form of Jihad. "The Deen Show" is broadcast by several English-language TV satellite and cable channels in the U.S., the U.K., and elsewhere. To see more from "The Deen Show," see MEMRI TV Clip No. 5699.
Eddie Redzovic: "There is another professor here, I want to get your take on what he had to say. His name is David Ray Griffin, he said that pretty much all the evidence that America was attacked by Muslims on 9/11, when subjected to critical scrutiny, appears to have been fabricated. Who is... This is an academic, this is a professor emeritus, someone who also now is coming out and putting his career on the line and everything to say this, to defend Muslims."

Dr. Kevin Barrett: "Obviously Muslims didn't do 9/11, obviously all of this was fabricated, the official story of 9/11 is a complete joke.

"There are thousands of people like this..."
Eddie Redzovic: "Thousands?"
Dr. Kevin Barrett: "Yeah, if you go to Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth you'll see more than 2,000 architects and engineers who've risked their lives, their, well, I don't know if they risked their lives but they're certainly risking their reputations to tell the truth, and they're doing it out of their hearts."
Eddie Redzovic: "They're doing jihad."
Dr. Kevin Barrett: "Yeah, they're doing the truth jihad too, yeah, most of them are not Muslims, a few of them are."
Eddie Redzovic: "They're struggling and striving to get what they believe is the truth – to get it out."
