In an October 7, 2024, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn "Mama’s Silent March" marking the first anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, a young girl shouted: "Fuck Israel!" and was received with applause from the crowd. A boy said that Hamas should build more tunnels in order to invade and attack Israel. A woman chanted: "We are returning […] to Acre and Tiberias." The march was organized by Mamas 4 a Free Palestine and Pal Awda Mothers Committee. Video of the event was posted on the Instagram account of Najla Khass.
