China And Russia Hold Joint 'Northern Interaction 2024' Military Exercise In Sea Of Japan

On September 16, 2024, CCTV Video News Agency (China) posted to its YouTube channel a report about the "Northern Interaction 2024" military exercise held in the Sea of Japan jointly with Russia. The first phase of the exercise, scheduled between September 11 and 15, involved naval and air forces.

Over the past five days, their naval and air forces have worked together in the Sea of Japan, testing their tactical command and joint operation capabilities.
