In the May 31 episode of the Egyptian daily TV series titled "People of Evil," broadcast on Ten TV during the month of Ramadan, David Ben-Gurion is depicted as a serpent with a Star of David pattern drawn on its body. TV host Nashaat Eldeehy says: "Our show deals with the people of evil, but these are the most Satanic of the people of evil," and recommends that his viewers read The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The series focuses almost exclusively on Islamic figures, with one of the episodes devoted to Theodor Herzl and another to the Freemasons.
Nashaat Eldeehy: "[Ben-Gurion] said: 'We live in a Sunni area. The State of Israel must quickly help generate sectarian and ideological disputes in the region, in order to guarantee its own comfortable stability.' He also said: 'Israel is meaningless without Jerusalem, and Jerusalem is meaningless without the Temple.' Regarding the 1948 war, he said: 'The old will die, and the young will forget.' That is David Ben-Gurion. Hello."
