Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki, which aired on Palestinian Authority TV on May 14, 2013:
Abbas Zaki: Anybody who expects anything from the West is counting their chickens before they are hatched. Tony Blair, who is a descendant of Balfour, and who destroyed Iraq, should not be allowed to be in charge of any Palestinian issue. Yet he is currently the envoy for peace in the region. We should not expect any solution from Kerry and Obama, who are totally committed to the security of Israel.

We say to the U.S.: You have many interests in the Middle East, and so do all the [countries] of the world. Do not let us go berserk. Do not make us lose hope, because if this happens, we will have plenty of options available. This decision is not up to the leadership, but will be made by our great people.

When [Arafat] was placed under siege in Ramallah, he said: "Millions of martyrs march upon Jerusalem." None of you will live unless you implement the words of Arafat – "Million of martyrs march upon Jerusalem" – if circumstances and the necessity dictate this. I convey the message that the world's stability, and the oil – the secret of the monopoly and hegemony of the U.S. – will come to an end in the near future, and that the balance of power in the world will collapse, if they do not understand that we want true peace.

I say to President Mohamed Morsi: If you merely declared that you wished to reconsider the Camp David Accords, by God, you would become king of the Arabs from the Ocean to the Gulf. The Arab nation is in need of an anti-Zionist Islam, not an Islam under the banner of the U.S. There is still an opportunity at hand. Let us not be divided into Shiites and Sunnis. There is still a chance to avoid relying upon the Americans and the Europeans, the enemies of our countries and of Islam.

Instead of talking about a two-state solution, we should be talking about a complete Israeli withdrawal from the lands that were occupied on June 4, 1967, so that the state will not come at the expense of the [Palestinian] homeland. In addition, we say on this Nakba Day that the slogan of the Right of Return must override all the bullshit that the U.S. invents for us – a new theory every day – in order to keep us busy for years to come.

The Israeli people has voted for the extremists, and it must pay the price. The Palestinian people has voted for peace – but there is no peace. The time has come to reconsider everything and to form a new strategy. Just as the Israeli soldiers turn a blind eye at the crimes of the settlers, we too must ignore the fighters who cause harm to Israel.

Just because you are a Palestinian, you are cursed by those apes, who are subservient to the U.S.
