In a February 26, 2014 interview with Hizbullah’s Al-Manar TV channel, Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki said: “None of us, especially in Fatah, has ruled out the military options.”

Interviewer: Some Palestinians say that the days of intifadas are gone, never to return, and that there is no alternative to the negotiations.
Abbas Zaki: There is a big difference between addressing the consciences of the enemies, so that they will listen to you and so that you can denounce your rival, and between being unable to restrain the masses, when sacrifices are warranted, and there is hope [for gains] through resistance and confrontation.
