Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki: May Allah Bless October 7! It Reshuffled The Cards Against Israel, Which Already Wanted To Eliminate The Palestinian Cause and the Entire Middle East

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki said in a September 14, 2024 interview on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah- Lebanon) that he is inspired and influenced by people who are serious about the Palestinian struggle, and he criticized those who curse or regret the war with Israel. He says that Israel had decided to "finish off" the Palestinian people, the two-state solution, and the entire Middle East, even before the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led invasion of southern Israel, about which he said: "May Allah bless it! It reshuffled the deck." He said that Palestinians abroad are today demonstrating against Israel while Palestinians domestically are taking part in an uprising against Israel, and he thanked Allah that the Palestinian people are steadfast and have faith in victory regardless of the losses.

Abbas Zaki: "October 7 has shuffled the cards, God bless it. It postponed the occupation and destruction of the West Bank by about a year.

"We are now seven million here and seven million abroad. Those who are abroad are taking part in demonstrations, and the people here are taking part in this glorious feat, either with weapons or without. This is the situation in the West Bank. It used to be forbidden to carry weapons, or even a knife. But now, Allah be praised, we hear that young people are erupting – despite decisions from above – and they are acting as if we had the resources to fight that country [Israel] which has now rallied its entire army in the West Bank. So I thank Allah that our people are steadfast, and that our people have faith in victory, no matter how great the losses are."
