On August 9, 2023, the pro-PLA Military Fans World YouTube channel posted a video showing footage from a Chinese PLA drill in which intelligence gathered from a drone is used to call in a J-16 fighter jet airstrike.

Speaker 1: "Suspected target sighted. Request approach identification."

Speaker 2: "Flying Dragon No. 1, continue monitoring."

Speaker 1: "Roger that."

Speaker 2: "Intelligence. Notify Sharp Blade to investigate."

Soldier: "High-value target. Request Eagle support."

Commander: "Eagles, based on the information coming from the UAV, carry out strike mission. Target position 75 36. Position correct, proceed with the strike."

Speaker 3: "'Enemy' reinforcement sighted. Request supplementary strike."
