Military-Style Performance by Gaza Kindergarten Children

A video-clip posted on social media networks shows a performance in the Zharat Al-Madayen kindergarten in Gaza, in which the children wear military fatigues and brandish toy weapons. The Facebook post included the explanation that the event, titled "Palestine in the Eyes of Our Sons," had been organized by the management and educational staff of the kindergarten "in order to instill the love of the homeland in the children’s souls." At the end of the event, the children performed to the sound of the official pledge of allegiance of the Jordanian military, from which the sentence "I pledge to be loyal to the king and the country all my life" had been omitted. The video was posted on the Facebook and YouTube accounts of the kindergarten on November 28, 2016.
