Al-Manar TV recently reported on Hizbullah's Museum for Jihadi Tourism in Mleeta, Lebanon, focusing on "the airforce of the Islamic resistance." Hizbullah media official Sheikh Ali Dhaher took pride in the "new displays and improvements" in the museum on "the anniversary of the July [2006] victory," including a new group of drones, anti-tank shoulder-launched SAM-7 missiles, and the wreckage of a downed Israeli Yasur helicopter. "The willingness of the airforce of the Islamic resistance to display this variety of drones produced by Hizbullah... constitutes a message... that when it comes to these aircraft, there is much that the enemy does not know," concluded the report, which aired on August 4, 2018.
Reporter: The [museum presents] aircrafts that hovered in the skies of Palestine, and brought back images to the land sowed with sacrifice and Jihad. They included Mersad, Ayoub, and many others, whose secrets surprised friend and foe alike. A formation of drones, the pride of the resistance that produced them, came in to rest at the Mleeta Museum for Jihadi Tourism, on the anniversary of the July 2006 aggression, after a long period of military service, in the airforce of the Islamic resistance. Finally, they were placed on display for visitors to see. This is the first time that the symbol of the airforce was shown in public, and this drew the attention of the enemy.
Hizbullah Media Official Sheikh Ali Dhaher: After eight months of intensive work of the brothers in the Islamic resistance, and as part of the plan to develop the Mleeta museum, this year, on the anniversary of the July (2006) victory, we see several new displays and improvements in the museum – high-quality military weapons added by the resistance to the display, as well as new wings. Today, for example, we can see a new group of drones in the Mleeta museum. The resistance made use of these drones, and now they have been decommissioned. This is in addition to a group of cannons and SAM missiles. In the near future, we may be announcing something special that the resistance will award as a gift to the museum.
Reporter: In addition to the drones, the museum's directors have included anti-tank should-launched SAM-7 missiles, alongside the wreckage of an [Israeli] Yasur helicopter, downed by the resistance fighters during the July 2006 aggression, near the village of Yater in the south. There is also a display of an anti-tank force, with its various missiles. The willingness of the airforce of the Islamic resistance to display this variety of drones produced by Hizbullah in the Museum of Jihadi Tourism constitutes a message, in and of itself, that when it comes to these aircraft, there is much that the enemy does not know.
