In a January 3 address, Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said in response to the execution of Saudi Shiite Sheikh Nimr Al-Nimr: "This blood that has been shed will spell the end of the [Saud] regime and clan." Nasrallah further said: "When a regime loses its mind and loses even the slightest shred of humanity... it means that it has reached the brink of the abyss." The address was broadcast by Al-Manar TV.
Following are excerpts:
Hassan Nasrallah: Let me tell you, the response to the execution of the martyr, the distinguished scholar, Sheikh Nimr Baqr Al-Nimr will be a Zaynab-style response. All the people must rise and speak the truth, as Zaynab did when facing Ibn Ziyad and Yazid bin Mu'awiya, without fearing anyone and without any other consideration.

Crowd: No to humiliation!
No to humiliation!
No to humiliation!
No to humiliation!
No to humiliation!
Hassan Nasrallah: The blood that is being shed unjustly in Yemen, and on the land of the Arabian Peninsula and in its prisons, and anywhere on Arab and Islamic land where blood is shed as a result of the ideology, capital, and weapons of these people… This blood that has been shed will spell the end of the [Saud] regime and clan. It will spell the end for them. Divine law and the law of history dictate this. When a regime loses its mind, and loses even the slightest shred of humanity, and even the most basic human conduct, it means that it has reached the brink of the abyss. I add my voice to the voices of all those who have said that the signs of the demise of this corrupt, criminal, unjust, tyrannical, takfiri, and terrorist regime have begun to appear on the horizon.
