General Kioumars Heydari, commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Force, was interviewed by Iranian Channel 1 TV about President Trump’s designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. Heydari said that “the Americans should know that as a result of this stupid approach, all the U.S. military forces are considered terrorist organizations by the great Iranian nation.” He continued to say that “they are plunderers and they will have no security anywhere in the world.” Heydari emphasized that he was especially speaking about CENTCOM. He added that the reason the Americans consider Iranian forces terrorists is because “from day one, we confronted their exaggerated demands.” He explained that the Iranians have done so not with slogans but “by sacrificing our lives and our heads.” Heydari said: “We pursued them all the way to the Golan Heights.” Heydari concluded by saying that “one day we will get on the Golan Heights, and throw the Israeli mercenaries down from there.” The interview aired on April 17, 2019.
Interviewer: We heard that U.S. President Trump designated the IRGC a terrorist group.

Of course, they would call [our forces] terrorists. Why? From day one, we confronted their exaggerated demands. We did not do this with slogans, but by sacrificing our lives and our heads. We confronted their demands to the point of sacrificing our lives. We pursued them all the way to the Golan Heights. Allah willing, one day we will get on the Golan Heights, and throw the Israeli mercenaries down from there. That day is not far away.
