Iranian analyst Emad Abshenas, editor-in-chief of Iran Diplomatic said in an October 8, 2024 interview with Sky News Arabia (UAE) that there is no trust crisis between Hizbullah and Iran. However, he caveated that there "might be a security breach." Abshenas continued to claim that Iran has reached a high level of security infiltration into Israel as well, and that Prime Minister Netanyahu's maid, chauffeur, and an attendant were arrested for espionage and accused of spying for Iran. When challenged by the show's host on this, he said that information about this can be found on the Internet.
Emad Abshenas: "There is no trust crisis whatsoever between Hizbullah and Iran. I can say this because I am privy to the existing relations between Iran and Hizbullah in Lebanon. There is great trust between the two sides. If there is a security breach, that's one thing, and lack of trust is another thing. Indeed, there are high-level security breaches in Iran, but there is also Iranian security infiltration into Israel.
"A year ago, before the October 7 operation, Israel announced the arrest of a maid at Netanyahu's home, as well as his chauffeur and an attendant, and the Minister of Energy in the Israeli government. They were all arrested for spying for Iran. So Iran has also managed to breach Israel's security on that level, and it can reach inside Netanyahu's home, and even his bedroom and kitchen. The security infiltration on both sides is on a very high level..."
Interviewer: "I'm not so sure that the level of Iran's infiltration is as high as you describe..."
Abshenas: "The Israelis themselves declared this. You can check the Internet. It is not me saying this. The Israelis themselves announced that these people were arrested for spying for Iran."
