On February 4, 2019, Iranian journalist and military expert Mehdi Bakhtiari reported on Iran's ballistic missiles. He said that Iran's newest, most important, and most destructive missile is the Khorramshahr missile, which he said uses liquid fuel and has a range of 2,000 kilometers. He said that unlike other missiles, the Khorramshahr can carry 1,800 kilogram  in up to three warheads.

Mehdi Bakhtiari: What you see here is a variety of ballistic missiles, manufactured by the Islamic Republic of Iran. About 12 models are present here. The newest and most important missile is the one behind me: the Khorramshahr missile. This missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers and it uses liquid fuel. This is the most powerful and destructive missile built to date by the Islamic Republic of Iran. It has a warhead of 1,800 kilograms. Unlike other missiles, it can carry three warheads instead of just one.
