Senior Iranian Ayatollah Movahedi-Kermani: We Will Enrich Uranium As We See Fit for Energy, Science; We Don't Want Nukes, We Can Just Strike Those at Israel's Dimona Reactor; If We Are Attacked, Persian Gulf Will Turn Red

Iranian Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi-Kermani, a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts and the Expediency Council, said in a July 5, 2019 Tehran sermon that aired on Channel 1 TV (Iran) that, starting on July 7, Iran will enrich uranium in any form, level, or amount that is "necessary." He said that Iran's uranium enrichment is solely for purposes of energy and scientific research, and not for the building of an atomic weapon, because "Iran does not see atomic bombs as legitimate and it does not need them." Ayatollah Movahedi explained that if Iran wants to attack a country like Israel because of America's "crimes," it can simply launch missiles at Israel's nuclear reactor in Dimona and "razed [Israel] dozens of times" with the 200 nuclear bombs that are in its possession. He warned America: "You must remember that you live in a glass house, and you need to be careful not to throw [stones] at your neighbors." He also threatened that the waters of the Persian Gulf will turn red if Iran is attacked. The audience chanted: "Allah Akbar! Khamenei is the Leader! Death to those who oppose the Rule of the Jurisprudent! Death to America! Death to England!... Death to Israel!"

Mohammad Ali Movahedi-Kermani: "Iran will continue to enrich uranium in order to supply electrical energy and for certain scientific purposes. This enrichment is not for the purpose of building an atom bomb, because Iran does not see atomic bombs as legitimate, nor does it need them. If [Iran] wants to attack a country like Israel because of America’s crimes, it is enough to strike Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona with missiles. In such a situation, Israel will be razed dozens of times by the 200 nuclear bombs that are in its possession. You [America] must remember that you live in a glass house, and you need to be careful not to throw [stones] at your neighbors. Be careful. Starting on July 7, we will enrich uranium – in any form, level, or amount that is necessary."
