Iraqi PMU official Hashim Al-Haidari said in a May 17, 2020 interview with Iranian filmmaker Nader Talebzadeh that aired on Ofogh TV [Iran] that many Iraqi men and women have approached him and expressed their willingness to carry out martyrdom operations against U.S. personnel in order to drive American forces out of Iraq. Hashim Al-Haidari: "America will not stay in Iraq. If it leaves through diplomatic means, that's great, and if it is not achieved through diplomatic means, then there are many men and youth... I say this as a simple soldier. Many young men have written to me, contacted me, or told me... Iraqi girls and women have also said to me, while crying, pleading and swearing upon Fatima Zahra, that they are willing to become martyrs in order to drive America out of Iraq. They even announced that they are willing to carry out martyrdom operations against Iraqi [sic] soldiers in military bases inside Iraq, not to mention Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, the Gulf, the Hejaz, and Yemen. The Americans have no way out. They are at a dead end. Certainly, they are regretful, and this feeling will only increase. The Leader [Khamenei] will not let go of this resolution and command. Neither will we. This is our duty. It is the duty of each and every one of us, especially those who have a voice, a pulpit, weapons, people, and a public. Anything we can do - us, you, everyone on the frontlines... From Nigeria to Kashmir, from Palestine to Yemen, we are responsible for driving America out. Allah willing, as Hassan Nasrallah said, after America is driven out of the region - Israel will come to an end on its own."
Nader Talebzadeh: "Yes. Very interesting."
Al-Haidari: "It is very close, Allah willing."
