On March 13, 2025, IRINN TV (Iran) aired a report covering the final day of the joint Iran, China, and Russia Maritime Security Belt 2025 drill in the northern Indian Ocean. The report emphasized how Western and "Zionist" media have portrayed the exercise as a strategic partnership and an alarming alliance. According to the report, Iran successfully showcased its naval capabilities during the drill, sending a message of its military strength and signaling that security in the northern Indian Ocean can be ensured without the involvement of the U.S. and other nations beyond this "strategic region." The maritime exercise is seen as a clear indication of the growing power of the trilateral naval coalition.

Narrator: "A strategic coalition and partnership, and a frightening union – this is how Western and Zionist media described this drill in the northern Indian Ocean. The Maritime Security Belt 2025 drill is commanded by the Iranian Navy, with the naval strike units of China and Russia [acting as the enemy]. Today, in the final phase of this drill, a convoy of destroyers of the [Iranian] army, the IRGC, and the navies of Russia and China comes against the destroyer of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Jamaran."

Reporter: "Iran successfully conducted this drill and the parade of power, and in reality, delivered the message of its absolute naval power to safeguard security in the northern Indian Ocean without any U.S. presence and other countries that are not part of this strategic region."

Narrator: "This is a sign of the daily strengthening of the major naval coalition, here, in the Indian Ocean, the main waterway to three strategic straits in the world: the Strait of Hormuz, the Malacca Strait, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait."
