Lebanese journalist Salem Zahran said in a March 31, 2020 interview on the Hizbullah-run Al-Manar TV (Lebanon) that the Lebanese citizens in Africa and other continents should be brought back to Lebanon because they shouldn't be left at the mercy of the "Jewish gangs" that are persecuting them. He said that there have been many assassinations and robberies against Lebanese people and other Arabs in Africa ever since the Zionist Jews decided to uproot Lebanese citizens from the African continent. Zahran claimed that this is what happened in Ghana, where he said Zionists infiltrated the Ghanaian administration and kidnapped, arrested, and framed Lebanese people with accusations such as bankrolling Hamas and Hizbullah.
Salem Zahran: "Are we expected to leave the Lebanese people in Africa and other continents [at the mercy] of the Jewish gangs that have been persecuting them for a long time? No! We want to bring the Lebanese people back here."
Interviewer: "What you're saying is serious. You are adding a security threat to the health threat. Do you think this is being seriously considered in Lebanon?
Salem Zahran: "I hope it is, considering the statistics. I haven't prepared this, but you should examine all the cases of assassination, robbery, and theft that have been done against the Lebanese in Africa – against all Arabs, not just the Lebanese – in the past 15 years, ever since the Jews decided to go in... When I say 'Jews.' I mean the Zionist Jews. [This has been going on] since they decided to go into that continent and uproot the Lebanese from there. Let's look at what happened in Ghana. The Zionists infiltrated the Ghanaian administration and directed acts of reprisal against the Lebanese. A large number of Lebanese have kidnapped, arrested, and framed with all kinds of accusations, like that they are bankrolling Hamas, Hizbullah, and so on, in order to get them out of the way.
