Lebanese Sunni Islamic scholar Sheikh Hassan Al-Moraib said in an October 1, 2024 episode of the Tafasil podcast on YouTube that Hamas did not imprison any Israeli civilians. He said that all Israelis are settlers and soldiers, even children younger than 10 carry guns, and therefore there are no Israeli civilians. He stressed that Hamas “arrested soldiers in plain clothes.”
