On January 1, 2025, several pro-Palestinian organizations organized a solidarity protest and march in New York City. In a video posted by the New York City Party for Socialism and Liberation, a speaker condemned the American presidential election as a "sham election" and urged protesters to follow the lead of the Palestinian resistance. In another video posted by Mamas 4 a Free Palestine on Instagram, shared by the Muslim American Society (MAS) Youth Center in Brooklyn, a speaker wearing a hijab emphasized that the struggle for Palestine is not merely political, but a religious one. MAS Youth Center also posted a video that showed worshippers performing evening prayers during the protest.
Later, in a video posted by Gerard D'Albon on Instagram, protesters were heard chanting: "There is only one solution – Intifada revolution!" and "Long live the Intifada!" Protesters waved flags of Bashar Al-Assad's regime in Syria, as well as Palestinian and Yemeni flags. On December 27, 2024, Raja Abdulhaq delivered a Friday sermon at the MAS Youth Center, where he stated that Muslims in America cannot be loyal to the security services of an empire that is destroying the world. Some of the other groups that organized the protest were Palestinian Youth Movement, PAL-Awda, and the People's Forum.
Speaker 1: "We have had a sham American election predicated on Gaza.

"This has been a historic year of mobilization, and we follow the lead of the Palestinian resistance, and I am hopeful, and I am optimistic, and I am certain that Palestine will be free."
[...]
Speaker 2: "Today is the first day of the new year but it is also the first day of Rajab, the month of the Isra and Mi'raj, or the ascension of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, through the seven heavens from the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. And just as the Prophet's ascension from this holy fight reminds us of the higher calling for justice and worship, it also reminds us of our responsibility to preserve, protect, and liberate that land. Our work for Palestine is not merely political, it's spiritual and it's tied to our belief in justice as a cornerstone of our deen [creed].

"Our strategy will continue to escalate."
Man: "Allah Akbar."
