Sudanese cleric Sheikh Muzammil Faqiri slammed the Muslim Brotherhood in a sermon delivered on Eid Al-Fitr. In the sermon, he said that ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and all the other Jihadi organizations had emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood and that "ISIS members are merely implementing the methodology devised by Sayyid Qutb, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood," who "accused entire societies of heresy, and called for killings, bombings, and assassinations." The sermon was posted on Sheikh Faqiri's YouTube account on July 13, 2016.
Muzammil Faqiri: "The Prophet Muhammad said: 'The kharijites are the dogs of Hell.' The kharijites of our times are the Muslim Brotherhood and their offshoots, such as Al-Qaeda, Sururism, and recently, ISIS. ISIS and the other organizations emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood. The same holds true for the (Egyptian) Takfir wal-Hijra organization. All these organizations emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood. They have accused the Muslims of heresy, killed them, and killed their children, sparing (only) their women. This happened five days ago, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, when an ISIS member, 18 years old, killed his father with a knife, slaughtered his mother like a sheep, and stabbed his sister and his brother. His father and mother died on the spot, and his sister and brother are still in hospital.
"This is the religion of the Muslim Brotherhood. They consider this to be Jihad - indeed, the loftiest form of Jihad - for the sake of Allah. They have accused the Muslims of heresy. The person behind this theory and this deception is Sayyid Qutb, may Allah punish him wherever he may be. He will get what he deserves from Allah, because he said: 'Humanity has forsaken worship of the Lord.' Humanity in its entirety has forsaken the worship of the Lord, he said. He accused entire societies of heresy, and called for killings, bombings and assassinations. (ISIS) members are merely implementing the methodology devised by Sayyid Qutb, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood."
