On October 12, 2015, the Iranian hacker group Iran-Cyber Team successfully hacked and defaced a number of Saudi websites. The defaced pages featured the following message: "Persian Gulf for always. Iranian hacker was here. Iran-Cyber Security group. You cannot threaten us! Persian Gulf forever!"
