Iran's Cyber Police Has Arrested 28,000 People In 1,700 Days

According to the head of Iran's Cyber Police (FATA), Brigadier General Kamal Hadianfar, his forces have arrested some 28,000 people and shut down some 47,000 websites in the past 6 years. During 2015, FATA arrested 53 ISIS supporters and deleted 132 so-called "terrorist websites." Additionally, he said Iran has been subject to some 1,000 cyber attacks on government websites, which Hadianfar said originated in Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S.
