The Islamic State (ISIS) news agency A'maq has released an updated version of its Android app. The new app offers more stability and "resilience," while promising timely delivery of ISIS news in Arabic to users' devices.
Promotion of new app version A'maq released its first Android app in December 2015.The news outlet says that its current app, Version 3, is "more stable and resilient." It also promises a relative degree of privacy for its users, noting that it "will never" ask for access to users' location, contacts, phone, SMS, camera, or "any personally identifiable information."
Content on the app mirrors that on A'maq's website, and includes short and long articles, videos, and various infographics.
