British-Palestinian Journalist Abdel Bari Atwan: The Iranians Fired 200 Missiles At Israel And All The Defense Systems Have Failed; I Feel Like Celebrating

British-Palestinian journalist Abdel Bari Atwan said in an October 7, 2024 show on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) that the October 7, 2023 Al-Aqsa Flood continues gaining victories and achievements. He said that the tunnels in the Gaza Strip are intact, there are still underground rocket factories and 500 km of tunnels that cannot be reached by American and Israeli bombs. Atwan added that another victory is the two Iranian missile attacks against Israel, in which he claimed 200 missiles reached the heart of Israel, without any defense systems intercepting them. He added: "I want to celebrate [this]."

Abdel Bari Atwan: "The Al-Aqsa Flood continues gaining achievements and victories. It continues. It has been going on for 12 months and the tunnels are intact. The rocket factories are still underground, in the tunnels. There are still 500 km of tunnels in the Gaza Strip, and they are so deep that all the bombs of the U.S. and Israel cannot reach them. Is this not a victory? There were also the first and second True Promise [Iranian missile attacks].

"When Iranian Fattah missiles reached the heart of Israel—at least 200 missiles, and all the defense systems have failed, although they are the most advanced in the American arsenal…These systems have failed miserably. Isn't this worthy of a celebration? I want to celebrate. If you don't want to join, you don't have to."
