Fatah Spokesman Munir Al-Jaghoub On Iranian TV: All The Guns Should Be Turned Against The Occupation; Fighting The Occupation Should Take Place In The Settlements And Mountains, Not Populated Areas

In a December 24, 2024, discussion on Al-Alam TV (Iran) regarding the Palestinian Authority's crackdown on militants in Jenin, Arkan Badr, a member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) Political Bureau, said that what is happening in Jenin is very sad. He added that this is because the rifles in the hands of Palestinians should be pointed at the occupiers, their army, and their settlers, not other Palestinians.

Fatah spokesman Munir Al-Jaghoub expressed pride in Badr's "patriotic words" and agreed with him, saying: "Indeed, all the guns should be pointed at the occupation," and emphasized that Palestinians should avoid labeling each other as "traitors." He stressed that the fight against the occupation should take place in the settlements or mountains, not in areas populated with Palestinians. Fatah's goal, he said, is for Palestinians to remain on their land, in their homes, and confront "the demographic time bomb of the occupation."

Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) Political Bureau Member Arkan Badr: "What is happening in Jenin makes one's heart bleed. It is sad, because Palestinian guns – be it those of the resistance, those that are in the hands of the people, or those in the [Palestinian Authority] security forces – should be pointed at the occupiers, their army and their settlers."

Fatah Spokesman Munir Al-Jaghoub: "I would like to express my appreciation for what the comrade from the DFLP said. I am proud of these patriotic words. Indeed, all the guns should be pointed at the occupation. We should not call each other 'traitors.' We should not slander each other.

"The right place to fight the occupation is in the settlements, the mountains of Palestine, and other places, and not in populated areas. Two million Palestinians in Gaza are now homeless. They are living a life of hardship in tents. We want to keep our people on their land, in their homes, and among their children. We want our people to live and confront the demographic time bomb of the occupation. We outnumber the occupation. When the occupation became aware that the Palestinians outnumber it, it tried to find any means to attack the Palestinians and drive them out of this land."
