Egyptian TV Host Marwa Salem Professes Her Love to North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un: He Never Harmed Anyone Outside of His Country

Egyptian TV host Marwa Salem professed her love to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying that everyone says that he's a murderer, but he never harmed anyone outside of his country. She made these remarks on her show that aired on Alhadath Alyoum TV (Egypt) on June 17, 2020. She explained that unlike other leaders who invaded Iraq or overthrew the Syrian regime, he never attacked another country to gain control over its oil and that these are all things that are done by his enemies, who are the "real murderers."

Marwa Salem: "Today, I have something to confess... I would like to confess to someone on air, that I love him, and I really hope that he can hear me. It may come as a shock to you, but if you understood my humble point of view, you might change your mind. The man that I love is Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea.

"How come I love this man? The reality this man faces is hostile and harsh. Everybody mocks him and the whole world says that he is a murderer. But let’s think together for a moment. This man never harmed anyone outside his country. Was it Kim who waged war against Iraq? Is he the one caused the chaos in Syria? Have you ever heard that he attacked another country for its oil? Have you ever heard that he sent mercenaries to another country, for example? These are things that are done by his enemies, who are the real murderers. They have pinned all the bad things on him through their media – the same media that President Al-Sisi called 'soft power.'

"Do you know why I love him? Because there are many leaders who harm society... Never mind... I love him, Okay?"
