Friday Sermon In Tehran University By Ayatollah Jannati: America Will Collapse. We Must Be Patient.

Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati spoke in his Tehran university Friday sermon about the US, promising the audience it will collapse like all enemies of the Iranian revolution. Following are excerpts:

Ayatollah Jannati: Anyone who confronted the revolution, the Imam (Khomeini), and our dedicated people eventually collapsed, or is about to collapse. America is the last one, and Allah willing, it will also collapse, and so will Israel.

In Iraq there are many problems. May Allah, by the virtue of the Hidden Imam, God will remove the evil of America and Israel from humanity. The events that occurred in the past few days in some [Iraqi] cities, leaving many dead and injured, have been added to the rest of their crimes. They have been added to their crime in Abu Ghuraib. To sum up, they are heading towards the slope leading to their downfall. Obviously, we must be patient and wait until the end.

I say to those dear people: Oh Iraqi brothers and sisters, America and Israel don't want your heads to remain attached to your bodies.
