Friday Sermon In Bojnurd, Iran, Delivered By Khamenei's Representative Reza Nouri: People Need To See America's Corpse In Order To Believe It Can Do Nothing To Iran

Khamenei's representative in Khorasan Shomali province Reza Nouri said that America is no longer capable of doing anything to harm Iran in a Friday sermon delivered in Bojnurd, Iran and aired on Khorasan Shomali TV (Iran) on January 22, 2021. He said that some people need to actually see "the corpse of America and the regime of arrogance" in order to believe that "this regime is no longer capable of doing anything [to Iran]". Nouri said that there was a time when the "straw power" of America could attack Iran and harm its security, but today, thanks to the Iranian regime's military capabilities, it cannot do a thing to it.

Reza Nouri: "When Moses and his companions wanted to cross the Nile [sic], the Lord made all of Pharaoh's people drown.

"The Lord says: 'I have thrown Pharaoh's corpse outside. His stomach was bloated, his corpse stank, and flies gathered around it. I have shown the Israelites that this was the very same Pharaoh who had claimed to be a god. I have shown them so that they would not think that Pharaoh might pop up from somewhere else to cause them harm.' Apparently, there are people who need to actually see the corpse of America and the regime of arrogance in order to realize that this regime can no longer do anything [to Iran]. There was a time when this [American] straw power could attack Iran and cause lack of security in our country. But today, with all of our regime's [military] capabilities, the [American] straw regime can no longer do anything [to Iran]."
