Following the Assassination of Nasrallah, Iranian Majles Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf Leads Members in Chanting: Death to America! Adds: The United States Is an Accomplice to the Crimes of the Zionists, It Must Accept the Consequences

In a September 29, 2024 session of the Iranian Majles following the assassination of Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf led members in the chant: “Death to America! Death to Israel!” He said that the United States is “an accomplice” in the crimes of the Zionist regime, and therefore it must accept the consequences. Other members of the Majles criticized the regime for not avenging the assassinations of Qasem Soleimani and Ismail Haniyeh, saying that if there had been vengeance for them, the assassination of Nasrallah would have been avoided. One member suggested that Iran should rethink its nuclear and military doctrine. The session was aired on IRINN TV (Iran).
