Lebanese Sheikh 'Abd Al-Karim Fahlallah, a Shiite cleric, appeared on Hizbulla's Al-Manar TV talk show on May 15, 2004. Sheikh Fadhlallh discussed Jews in history and at the present. Following is a verbatim translation of Sheikh Abd Al-Karim Fadhlallah's comments:
Sheikh Fadhllah: There is an ideological background. We know that the Jews killed their prophets...
Host: Yes.
Sheikh Fadhllah: …And distorted the Torah. We are familiar with the story of the Moabites. Who are they? The daughters of Lot, Abraham's nephew, said, "Our father has no sons, let us beget him children." They gave him wine to drink, he became intoxicated and slept with his two daughters. Meaning, the boys were the daughters' father's children, the father of the two girls, and these are the Moabites. It exists amongst them. The use… and it has a purpose. Nullifying all values. If a prophet behaves this way, it is only natural that the common person would do so. They wanted to destroy the prophets' values. When one destroys the prophets' values and kills prophets, no values are left in the world. There is no value to humans, no value to anything.There is an important point, anyone who studies modern thought and history sees that there is no difference between America and Israel. Their thinking is identical. The Jews removed God from the Holy Temple and placed money there in His stead. Today, in America who is a success? One who succeeds in accumulating more money. The manner of accumulation is immaterial, whether it is legitimate or not, by harming souls, people, murdering people, trading in heroin, drugs, instigating wars between people, between countries, inciting countries against each other because this is in my interest, that is what happens.
There is one concept, when people go out… The Koran is great may the whole world run according to it. It says, "O mankind We have created you from male and female and We have divided you into tribes and sub tribes." Meaning the character of humans varies. Meaning there is a recognition of the fact that there is a variety of peoples. "Verily the most honored among you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous among you."
In the Western materialistic conception the expression, "the most righteous among you" does not exist. That is why it is a murdering, egotistical, corrupt concept, a concept of cold-blooded murder to serve their interests. If their interest is to kill a million people… Were not two million people killed in Rwanda? Two million killed, not 40! And this was passed over by the media as though no one cares, it was passed over quietly. They bombed Hiroshima with a great nuclear bomb…
