Member Of Palestinian Security Forces: Israeli Settlers Are Banned From Using West Bank Roads Or They Will Face Bullets; We Will Trample The Heads Of The Settlers

A member of the Palestinian Security Forces, whose face was covered by a keffiyeh, warned Israel that it would pay a "very steep price." He made these remarks in an anonymous video that was posted on various Palestinian online outlets on May 18, 2021. In the video, the Security Force member said that the Palestinian Security Forces are not the guards of the "enemy's" settlements, nor are they the servants of its soldiers. Any settler on the roads will be shot, he said, and "the time has come to face bullets with bullets, and death with death." The Security Force Member said: "We will trample the heads of the settlers occupying our land. Allah willing, we will fly the banner of victory on the minarets of Jerusalem."

Palestinian Security Forces member: "The time has come for [the Israelis] to learn who the Palestinians are. We will remind them of the proud men of the West Bank. Oh, sons of Palestine, who have been raised by Abu Jihad, Abu Ammar [Yasser Arafat], [Ahmad] Yassin, [Fathi] Shaqaqi, and Abu Ali Mustafa, you have taught the enemy who [Raed] Al-Karmi and [Yahya] Ayyash were... Oh members of the security forces, I am one of you.

"Oh members of the fighting factions, whoever among you has a weapon or a knife – the time has come for us to say to the enemy: 'We are not the guards of your settlements nor are we servants for your soldiers. The time has come to pay the price and you will pay a very steep price, starting tonight. Therefore, the settlers are prohibited from moving on the roads of the West Bank. Whoever violates this will be met by bullets. The time has come to face bullets with bullets, and death with death. We will show you tremendous things in the coming hours. We are heroes and you are cowards and thieves.
