In a report posted on the Internet on August 20, makeshift classrooms in a remote village in Burkina Faso are shown in which the textbooks used bear the logo of the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. One of the textbooks is titled ""Monotheism and Jurisprudence for Third Grade."

Following are excerpts:

Narrator: We are in a village in Burkina Faso, near an area called Bobo. It is located 160 kilometers from the city of Bobo. 80 kilometers of the road to Bobo is a desert road. Let's go in and see what and how they study in these classrooms. This is a message to the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Assalaam Alaykum. Allah's mercy and blessings upon you.

Children: Allah's mercy and blessings upon you too.

Narrator: These are the students, studying in this hut. They are studying many subjects, but let's see what they are studying right now. On the blackboard it says "arithmetic." This is their teacher. Please tell us who you are, sheikh. What's your name?

Teacher: My name is Zakariyya Sawado.

Narrator: The teacher is named Zakariyya. Let's see the textbooks used by Zakariyya the teacher.
"Ministry of Education, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." He teaches them our own Saudi textbooks. These books encourage adherence to the Quran and the sunna of the Prophet. As you can see, these books are old. They need new ones. We promised them that we would take care of this. This is a message to you, people of Saudi Arabia: You are responsible, in the eyes of Allah, for the education of these children. This is one classroom, and here is another one.

Assalaam Alaykum. Allah's mercy and blessings upon you.

Children: Allah's mercy and blessings upon you too.

Narrator: Praised be Allah. This is the blackboard from which they are studying. Please tell us who you are, sir. What's your name?

Teacher: Abdel Hamid Issa Tsauri.

Narrator: Pleased to meet you, Abdel Hamid. May Allah give you and us good fortune.
