Iranian Islamic scholar Mohammad-Hassan Aboutorabi Fard said in a Friday, June 19, 2020 sermon in Tehran that aired on Channel 1 (Iran) that the "so-called" big powers exploit international organizations such as the IAEA for their own illegitimate purposes, and that if the IAEA passes a resolution against Iran, as has recently been suggested by France, this would eliminate the possibility of any cooperation between Iran and the IAEA. He added that the security of Europe and the Middle East is intertwined, warning that the European countries need to reassess their security strategy because they will only be safe from terrorism, drugs, and immigration if Iran is able to play its role in fighting these things.
Mohammad-Hassan Aboutorabi Fard: "In the past few hours, the French representative has announced the anti-Iranian resolution has been submitted to the IAEA Secretariat.

"Many of the statesmen and intellectuals in the world believe that cooperation with the international organizations does not achieve anything for third-world countries, because it is the will of the so-called 'big powers' to exploit these international organizations for the purposes of their illegitimate interests. The behavior of the European countries, and of the IAES's Board of Governors, will support this point of view, and further pave the way for a lack of cooperation between the nations and the international organizations.

"Exploiting the IAEA will undermine its reputation and threaten the security of Europe.

"If a resolution against Tehran is passed, this would eliminate the possibility of any agreement between the IAEA and Iran.

"The European countries should be careful to not become an even more worthless tool in the hands of America and the Zionists. The security of Europe and the Middle East is intertwined. Only if this safe region can properly play its role in fighting terrorism, drugs, and immigration, will Europe, Southwestern Asia, and the Horn of Africa be safe. The European countries need to reassess their defense strategy."
