On December 1, 2024, a video uploaded by "Abu Uday" on YouTube appears to show female Kurdish fighters being captured by Islamist militants in Syria. In the video, the militants are heard calling the Kurdish fighters "pigs."
Militant: "Nobody hit those pigs. Come here, you! Raise your head! You are PKK. Raise your head. Cover her hair. You pigs! You and her... Raise your head! Raise your head! You pig! You enemy of Allah!"
