Yemeni Houthi official Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti responded to American military strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen in a March 15, 2025 appearance on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar) claiming they are unjustified, claiming that the Houthis’ military operations were only directed at Israeli targets. He said: We will meet escalation with escalation. Al-Bukhaiti stated that the Houthis will retaliate against American targets, because it was the Americans who instigated the escalation.
