On December 24, 2021, Channels 1 and 2 (Iran) aired reports about the IRGC's "Great Prophet 17" joint military exercise, in which 16 short, medium, and long-range missiles were simultaneously launched at targets that simulated sensitive enemy targets, which were reportedly destroyed with 100% accuracy. The missiles used in the drill included the Emad, Ghadr, Sejil, Zelzal, Dezful, and Zolfaqar missiles. General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of Iran's armed forces, told Channel 1 reporters that Iran has hundreds of missiles that can accurately strike any target in a country that "conspires" to attack Iran.
IRGC Commander-in-Chief General Hossein Salami told the reporters that the drill is a clear and serious warning to Iran's enemies, particularly in response to Zionist threats about attacking Iran. He said that Iran will cut off the Zionists' hands if they make a "mistake," and he emphasized that the only difference between this drill and a real attack is the angle of the missiles' launch. IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh then told the reporters that Iran has equipped its missiles with "maneuvering" capabilities that make them very difficult to intercept and that make it so that the hundreds of billions of dollars that Iran's enemies have invested in defense systems have "gone down the drain."
The Channel 2 report showed a statement by IRGC General Gholam Ali Rashid, the Commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters, who said that any military operation or threat against Iran's "peaceful nuclear plants" will be considered to have been carried out with American approval, and will result in Iranian retaliation against the country that launched the attack and against any military bases that participated in it.
Reporter: "The IRGC's Prophet 17 Joint Exercise culminated with the roar of various types of missiles. Sixteen of the IRGC Aerospace Force's short, medium, and long-range missiles successfully destroyed the simulated targets and sensitive centers of the enemy."
General Mohammad Bagheri: "This is part of the missile power of the Islamic Republic. The 16 missiles that hit the target simultaneously are a small part of hundreds of missiles that can simultaneously hit any target in a country that conspires to attack the Islamic Republic, and cause total destruction."

Reporter: "The target is unique and it was hit with a 100% precision by the Emad, Ghadr, Sejil, Zelzal, Dezful, and Zolfagar missiles."
General Hossein Salami: "This exercise, and especially the one we conducted today, delivered a very clear message. This is a message of a serious and real warning from the ground, [in reply to] the threats by senior Zionist officials. They need to be careful about their mistakes. If they make a mistake, we will cut off their hands. I mean, the difference between a real operation and a missile exercise is only in the angle at which the missiles are launched."
Reporter: "In addition to their power, speed, and precision, these missiles now have a maneuvering capability, in order to penetrate through the enemy's defense systems."
General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh: "We have managed to equip our ballistic missiles with the ability to move and maneuver in different directions. Well, this phenomenon makes it very difficult for the enemy. In general, it is very difficult to intercept ballistic missiles and they are intercepted at a very low percentage. Yet, by doing what we have done – some hundreds of billions of dollars of our enemy's investments have gone down the drain. In other words, they are useless now."
Reporter: "Sixteen missiles are launched simultaneously. These are IRGC ballistic missiles with short, medium, and long ranges. The Emad, Ghadr, Sejil, Zelzal, Dezful, and Zolfagar missiles hit the target with 100% precision, a few moments after the launch. The target is a virtual enemy with sensitive positions.

"Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters warns: Any military operation or threat against Iran's peaceful nuclear plants will be considered to have been done with America's approval, and in retaliation, Iran will destroy all the bases and commands through which the enemy planes have passed on their way to invade Iran, in addition to the very source of the invasion."
