Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević On Serbia-China Relations: Our Friendship Is Based On Shared Values, Sincerity, Respect, Dignity, And The Pursuit Of A Common Future; Our Economic Cooperation Has No Strings Attached

Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević said in an interview that was published by CCTV Video News Agency (China) on December 21, 2024, that the relationship between China and Serbia is based on true shared values, sincerity, respect between the two nations, equality, dignity, and the pursuit of a common future. He also said that the economic cooperation between China and Serbia does not have any political strings attached to it.

Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević: "The friendship between Serbia and China is based on true, shared values, on sincerity and respect between the two peoples and the two countries. Although Serbia and China are far apart, separated by mountains, fields, forests, and oceans, there is a force that connects all, that is, common values, namely, equality, dignity, and the pursuit of a common future. These values form the strongest bridge that allows us to overcome all obstacles.

"Indeed, in our economic cooperation with China, when we cooperate with your institutions, there has never been any political precondition, no need to do this or that for cooperation, no need to give up this or that, no need to prohibit this or that, no need to make a clean break with certain parties for cooperation with China. Chinese partners always focus on our common future, and those projects that can achieve win-win results. This is a big difference. For some people, this is an essential difference."
